As there are several people who have been residing for decades as well with the increasing students the demand for rents in this town has been affected and hiked up. Script: I am interviewing students who are staying in Kamloops. One person stays in a rented apartment while the other pays a higher amount and stays in TRU housing. We have discussed the factors and whether it is affordable or not. We have also discussed the pros and cons of high prices and low price apartments.
As per the data from the Facebook marketplace, the average cost for a two-bedroom apartment is 3000 cads a month. Which is far from a hotspot yet costs such a high price, while places like the East village and Mc-gill Tru housing are expensive but still have quite a large benefit. When we sum up all the points and conclude this topic, there is no right answer to the rents in Kamloops. The only thing considered is that if any place is cheaper, then there are other expenses while if some places have higher rents, they do have the benefits.
To sum up all there is no conclusion if it is over-rated or regular, it depends on the price and the person’s financial standards.
